    Fantastic, many thanks for these. I love the fact that they are split into ‘priority’ and ‘want to do’ sections.

    I also love the inspirational quotes.

    @Angie Wilkes What a lovely comment! Thank you for taking the time to say such lovely things and sending some sunshine my way. I’m glad you found the planner pages useful. Truth is, being a compulsive list-maker and a planner nerd, I really enjoy making planner pages. ;)

    Love these! How can I get the rest of the year?

  4. February 25th, 2010 at 15:23 | #4

    @Miranda Thank you for the comment. It’s always encouraging when folks leave comments. :)

    I’m creating this a month at a time because each month takes a little over an hour to make — mainly because I do a search for quotes that appeal to me. If you would like, I could email you when I have April available?

    Thanks again for taking the time to comment. :)

    We LOVE these at work — I think I’ve made at least 4 sets of them so far for our Levengers!!! THANK YOU!

  6. March 5th, 2010 at 17:44 | #6

    @Nicole You are such a sweetie! Thanks for taking the time to send this. :) I just uploaded April to benignchaos.com and will have May done soon. I’m submitting them to diyplanner.com as well but it takes a few days for them to approve the submission and show up in the templates directory.

    I’ve added some more spiritually-oriented quotes to this month as they have personal meaning for me. But if you find that the quotes are inappropriate for your workplace or don’t fit your personal belief system, then definitely download the original .odg files and put quotes in that you find more appropriate or personally meaningful.

    Thanks again for the wonderful comment. :) And if there is anything I can do to help with the files, please let me know.

    Sincerely,
    Angel.

    After deciding to get my life organised I came across your website, and these daily to lists have been very helpful. Appreciate your time in uploading these for all to use.

    Can you let me know when the rest of the year (’10) will be ready for printing.

    Keep up the good work!!!

  8. March 22nd, 2010 at 20:44 | #8

    These are just terrific. I discovered them through diyplanner.com, and look forward to using them. I’ve downloaded the pdfs, but may be inspired to try my own versions in OpenOffice.

    Thanks for your work, and for contributing these to the Web.

    Thank you, these are great!

  12. May 11th, 2010 at 15:58 | #12

    @Jamie
    Not yet, although it is on my to-do list. I am great tinkerer of my own work and I have been playing with the overall utility of the design instead of finishing up the year. :) But I shall, and I’ll email you when I have done. Thank you so much for the encouragement.

    Dear Angel and Shelrie, just to let you know that I find your daily planners exceptionally great! These are exactly what is needed (what I need) and I cannot do without them anymore. I also love the quotes! Best, Dick

    John Odekirk :I just started using these pages in May. They have helped me to priortize my day better. When will July be available?

  17. June 10th, 2010 at 13:05 | #17

    I just uploaded July and August today. I’m so sorry that I’m taking so long. I’m wrestling with the Warcraft monkey right now and trying to find a balance between the game and my real life.

    I uploaded the files to diyplanner.com as well as on our own site, benignchaos.com. All template submissions to diyplanner have to be approved, but it should show up there in a couple of days or so.

    Thanks for the comment. It’s always encouraging to hear from folks who like our work.

    Sincerely,
    Angel

    Thanks for July and August. I love these. They have made a difference in my life. I retired from teaching last year and floundered around for months, lost and not sure of how to structure my time. I was so used to bells, recesses, and lunch periods running my day that I didn’t quite know what to do with all that free time. Between your wonderful calendars and flylady, I’ve begun to rebuild my life. You are the best!

  19. June 13th, 2010 at 12:11 | #19

    @Cathy Hiya Cathy,

    Thanks so much for the really encouraging comment. I use FlyLady’s system too! The other two systems I like a lot are Getting Things Done and Zen to Done. I’m actually trying to create a calendar/tool that will incorporate the three systems, but that is still a long way from being complete.

    I found a couple of typos in the July and August calendars, so I uploaded non-typo versions today. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a comment. I hope you are having a great retirement! :)

    Sincerely,
    Angel.

    Hello, Cathy -

    I just lost my job last week, and have been looking for a way to get organized. I needed something for right now, for mid-June. I was trying to design my own planner pages, but wasn’t satisfied with anything I had come up with.

    I saw your July and August posts on diyplanner today, and followed your link to your website with all of the prior months you had posted as well.

    I just wanted to say that I absolutely love your calendar pages! They are well-designed, neat, easy to read, aesthetically pleasing, and very importantly include enough morning hours. Also the Want To Do in addition to Priority To Do is very useful.

    And … I love the daily quotes! They are quite moving, and are very inspirational at this time of my life.

    Thank you so much for for the work and thought that you put into them, and most especially thank you for making these available to others.

    Vanessa

    @Vanessa
    Hiya Vanessa,

    This is one of the sweetest comments we’ve ever received. Thank you so much! I’m glad that you are able to use the planner pages. Quotes help me a lot too sometimes when I’m feeling blue or lost, that’s why I have quotes and inspirational sayings scattered all around my house. Sometimes it’s hard to move and you need that little bit of encouragement.

    We wish all the best in finding a new (and wonderful!) job.
    Sincerely,
    Angel.

    I have been looking for planner pages like this for years! 2 pages/day is too much paper, but a weekly format doesn’t give me enough space. I’m not talented enough to create them on my own, so am thankful that you are sharing them with others. I am a quote person too, and I have laminated some of my favorites. I rotate them on my refrigerator every week or so. If you’d like a copy, I’d be happy to email to you.

    Dagny

  24. June 24th, 2010 at 14:45 | #24

    @Dagny
    I would LOVE a copy of your quotes! I am a big quote fan as well. I know some find them sappy and annoying, but I find quotes — especially the right quote at the right time — inspirational and motivational, and it will often lift my spirits. And I still have four more months to complete, so more quotes would help tremendously.

    Thank you so much! And I’m glad you enjoy the calendars. :)

    Sincerely,
    Angel.

    Thank you so much for these. I appreciate the work you have done and that you are willing to share with us. Please put me on your e-mail list so that I might be able to get the next months pages as soon as they are available. Sorry, I love being able to plan projects far into the future and I really love the look of your pages over other pages I have used.
    Thanks again :)

    Wow these have rapidly become the staple of my organizational life. And I really love the quotes. Please add me to your email list as I am beginning to plan into September and October. No pressure though, please I am sorry if it seems so. I truly appreciate and admire your work — that is why I am waiting for the next months instead of using some other generic planning pages.

  27. August 4th, 2010 at 07:50 | #27

    @Kathy and @Loretta

    Hiya Kathy and Loretta,

    Thanks for reminding me that September is coming up! I completely forgot! It’s funny how you get so wrapped up in the daily tasks of living that you forget your fun projects.

    I’ll start working on the last four months now and email folks when they are posted sometime within the next week.

    Thank you for the encouraging comments. It always makes me happy when I know my work is being used and helpful. And, Loretta, I don’t feel any pressure at all, only the best kind of gratitude from you guys. Thank you. :)

    Sincerely,
    Angel.

    I have been searching endlessly for the perfect day planner/organiser for months and have at last found it with yours. These are absolutely brilliant. It would be so fab if they were in A5 size, which would be ideal for travelling around with? i have downloaded Open Office but seem to throw everything out when i try and make changes. Once again thank you so much and i look forward to Septembers if i could please be added to your mailing list.

  29. August 6th, 2010 at 15:55 | #29

    @Tracey

    Hiya Tracey,

    First off, thank you so much for the lovely comment! You said some really sweet things. :)

    Secondly, I put everything that is repeated every day on the Master Page. Only elements that change day by day (like the date or day of the week) do I put on the actual page. To get to the Master Page, go to View -> Master.

    Also, if you haven’t already done so, you may want to check out diyplanner.com. They have a large European community (which I’m assuming you are since you asked for A5) and some other templates on A5 that you may enjoy as well. They are also a very helpful and kind community (none of that “you fag n00b” shit going on that is so prevalent on many online communities). I’ve had several technical questions, and the people there were wonderful. If you’re a Planner Nerd like me, you’ll really like it.

    I need to make an actual email list instead of going down the comments while thinking, “Okay, who asked to be emailed again?” I have been working on another project as well which I would love some feedback on that I could email the folks that asked to be on the list. Hmmm…. need to make a proper mailing list….

    Thanks again for encouragement. If you need any help modifying the original .odg, please let me know. My knowledge of Open Office is limited, but I’ll be happy to help where I can.

    Sincerely,
    Angel.

    Hi Angel,

    I absolutely love the calendar pages! The quotes are great! Can you tell me if you have plans on finishing the year and into next year? I am homeschooling my daughter and these pages are perfect for her schedule! Great work!

    Great calendar, have been looking for something like this for a long time. THank you. (Only thing I want to change when I download is the size, but just a litle.)

    Angel,
    Can you add me to the email list? I’ve been checking out here to see if you’ve had time to do any further months. Be glad to provide any input on other projects that you referred to above!

    Love, love, love these!!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to publish them. I, too, am a listmaker and planner nerd. These are great for my new job/position.

    Hiya Karen,

    I thought this was a great post by another female blogger who likes her planner: http://bookwormie10.wordpress.com/2010/01/12/i-am-not-ashamed-of-my-day-planner/

    Take care and thank you for the comment! :)

    I just love these planner pages. I write large so a letter size page is best for me. I was lost on the 1st without my planner. So glad to see them in the afternoon. Got them printed today for the rest of the year. Thanks for all your hard work on these.
